For static cling, use hair spray. The cheaper the better.
Just because your lipstick gets level with the tube, don’t give up on it. Put that lip brush to use and dig in. You’ll create a crater in the tube, but you’ll gain up to three months of “extra” product.
When you buy lipstick, purchase two sets—one for your bathroom and one for your purse. You’ll never have to worry about forgetting your lipstick when you step out for the day.
Use a pencil eraser in a pinch when you lose the back of your pierced earring.
If the tags at the back of your sweater or top make unwelcome appearances, avoid this situation by removing those tags with a seam ripper or scissors (carefully). Because you may wish to refer to them for laundering and care instructions, keep them by sewing them on an inside seam. Or staple them to a small piece of paper (I like 3x3), write down the clothing item on the paper, and file in a container and place of your choice for reference on laundry day.
Replace boring factory buttons with decorative buttons from the fabric/novelty store.
